TS Communities is Tishman Speyer’s affordable housing development platform led by Managing Director Gary Rodney, former president of the New York City Housing Development Corporation. Using the platform, Tishman Speyer looks for opportunities to buy, redevelop and build affordable housing for low, moderate, and middle-income individuals and families.

Edgemere Commons is the first all-affordable project to be undertaken by TS Communities. TS Communities entered into an agreement with The Arker Companies to acquire and develop 10 of the 11 building sites that will make up Edgemere Commons.
